Hello my name is Rose.

I have a tale to tell.

You will like my scent,

please stop and have a smell.



My colour is so pink,

especially in full bloom.

I make you feel so good,

and take away your gloom.



Long stems that are so green.

Quite thick with tiny thorns.

Be careful if you touch,

in case your skin is torn.



There are some things that i hate.

Like when it"s really cold.

I much prefer the warmth,

so come on let"s be bold!



I like a lot of sun,

but do enjoy the shade.

My bed it must be moist,

especially when first lade.



I grow robust and strong,

the seasons i have licked!

I really do enjoy,

my flowers being are picked.



I am a lover"s flower,

come on let"s have a ball.

I really do not care,

if you take me in the hall.



So please don"t be too shy,

don"t wait until the fall.

I am alright in a bed,

but best against a wall!
