Broken promise.
"Please Joseph,
do not stare at the soldiers".
"It is bad enough that they despise us,
we do not want hurt as well".

I am guessing that this is about what happened to the Jews? Well, obviously...A lot of people wont understand this if they don't know about the camps like Bergen Belson, etc. But I understood, and I really liked this.
So how is the promise broken? I don't see it, now, that is...
