Labour of love.

A big summer bee looms in the air,

deliberate and slow.

Buzzing.

The very nature of his mission

stuck to his legs.

How bittersweet I think to

have to work to make honey.

We both sway in unison

then he passes.

The weight of his labour

his life.

Worth his wait in gold

methinks.

I head for the kitchen.
