catching my breath,
jotting down lines
to clear my head,
I thought a bat
had crapped
on my notebook,
only to realize
it was blood
in my eye
that blurred
my view.

in my mind this about when Batman took the fall for Harvey Dent and it was beautiful! (its written in the perspective of the citizans of course, blood in their eye being that for batman which is why they saw bat crap)
seriosuly though, it does get down and intune with the cynical side of life, and highlights how quick we (the cynical) leap to the crappy explination!
