I hold so many things
within my memory,
my soul, my self
and steadily,
the weight
slows the revolving
of my life,
but as the gravity gathers
and my grip lessens,
like a skater
pulling in my arms,
the rotation increases,
the world blurs
from the spin,
and I am flung into that
Fortress of Solitude.
I think this poem is perfect

Me too;-) it could probably be improved on, but I think I frames the need to remain with the situation until the need to separate simply becomes greater than any desire can overcome ;-)

About The Title
I AGREE with Rabbit Who Lets Us Run With All - I love iceskating in the Olympics - they get extra points for not "traveling" - the circle made by blade on ice must be small and perfect and fast and unroaming - nice image. ~a~
;-)
