She humbly poured perfume
on the Savior's head,
annointing Him for
what was about to happen.
He would die for our sin.
The desciples, filled with gloom
with many tears shed
would grieve for
three days. But the resurection
filled them with renewed hope.
Oh, with what purpose they spread
the Holy Gospel.

but the thief rebuked her
for he had a great zeal
for what he could steal.
She humbly poured perfume
on the Savior's head,
Jesus comended her
for faith that was real.
He knew the cross was near
that for the sins of us, dead
He would be for three whole days.
