FROM THINE TEMPLE
Cast out the idol of self, Lord,
from Thine Temple.
Upon this humble heart within my chest,
write Thy Holy word.
I find it not so simple
to remember how You stressed
within Your Holy Word
that as a believer,
my body is the Temple
of The Holy Spirit.
Help me to leave, here,
at the cross, mine selfishness.
