Though, we often complain
about how hard we must work;
if we'd reflect on the perk
of modern technology,
we'd find that we merely feign
the very difficulty
of what we do, as compared to
the way our forefather's did work.
Oh, Lord, how thankful I am to You
for the gift of modern technology.
Jobs that were once backbreaking
are now so easily done.
Jobs that were once backbreaking
are now sometimes even fun.
So, why do we often complain
about how hard we must work,
when thankful for the perk
of modern technology we should be?
