I am grateful every Sunday
for my church and the way
they make me feel like I belong.
Without those folks,
I'd never be strong
enough to face Monday.
When you find a place
when you find the space
where you feel at home.
Here, you should remain,
no longer to roam.
for you have found your place.
I am ever so grateful
for the plateful
of spiritual nourishment
I receive every Sunday.
This church is Heaven-sent
and for it I am thankful.
