Sunday Morning

Silky flower with ever soft skin,
standing stubborn in the wind;
If a speak a breath of air,
will you bend, or break, or tear?
Sunlight, moonlight, how you glow;
You stretch and you sigh, a gesture I know.
I'd like to collect you, nurture you with care,
displaying you in a dark corner just isn't quite fair.
You belong in a field, full of freedom and spirit!
You need happiness, color, laughter,
and I need to hear it.
