"Put your angst to use, don't let it make you fail"

The floor was a quilt of sand that bit it's burn into the heels of my feet as I walked towards the door.

I stopped two steps in front of it, it was million steps too close.

My hand glides over the knob, twisting it back and forth.

Behind this simple piece of wood is my own mortality.

I face it head on with nothing more then life to fight it.

I hold the brass tightly, and push when it is turned.

  "Do not  cower away"

The water rushes through it's new passage way,

cleaning the sand from my body.

"Like the holy water, washing sin from your soul"
