Some say that forever is a long time.

Indeed, I must agree.

However, with every passing day does my love for you grow.

I deny, with every fiber of my being, how I truly feel about you.

Suddenly, after so long, friendship is no longer enough to sustain me.

But if forever is how long it’ll take… I’ll gladly wait.



With only your voice do you amaze me.

With only your actions do you amuse me.

I must admit that I’ve fallen.

Yet for this reason, I push you away.

With your touch, I feel safe.

Within your embrace, I feel like I can do anything.

Even if we speak for but a moment, I will cherish every sound.

Even if I see but a glimpse of you, I will hold

dear every contour… every expression.



Just beyond my reach will you forever be for me.

Just a start that’s way too high.

Just a dream that will never come to pass.

We’re so close, yet we’re so far.

A distance of unimaginable length.

Too many miles to even try, but not enough to break my hope.
