Mixed Feelings
Eyes meet and hands touch.
Times of hardship bring together those who have shed life.
Souls and minds intertwine.
Love seals with an instant first kiss.
Wings spread, letting emotions soar.
Feelings grow, bringing closer those who've been apart.
Opinions turn to rumors and jealousy breaks out amongst you.
Suspicions come to play themselves out.
Whether they're right or wrong... they're incapable of ease.
Distance mounts itself and brings you down.
Arguements begin loudly to get things out in the open.
Afterwards, apologies find their way to your heart.
Arms once again wrap around the object of their affections.
Laughter erupts, allowing happiness to return.
Mixed feelings are always so undecided... so confusing.
However, something that's worth while is never
so easy to grasp.
