I know men in relationships
the soft voice they have whispering sweet nothings.
Cold silence when they are upset.
Ferocious yelling, and throwing things while livid.
I know men in relationships
The masculine smell of cologne, that's irresistible.
Slightly musty scent that reinforces the necessity of a daily shower.
I know men in relationships
Constant false reassurance of "i'll change, I promise"
Of all the lies they tell you, "I love you" is one of my favorites
But my all-time favorite is "I promise i'll never hurt you."
But that's pretty much inevitable.
