As I look to the future what will I see?

maybe times of joy by a shimmering sea

happiness in every heart

where no pain will ever start

all the world is full of glee

and standing by a clear crystal sea

just waiting for time to pass by

never stopping to ask why

or maybe it will be full of pain

with people never able to find the way

all crying in despair

never able to find some clean air

so either way the world does go

I will always know

nothing can ever break my heart

because I have learned how to love from the start
