Honey lemon tea,

a rainy morning,

and memories of you;

each word a link

in the chain of healing.

On the suncoast skyline,

silhouettes of love;

and seagulls call for the sun.

I listen to the clock,

each sound the same

as the one before,

and the one after.

Here alone,

I wait.

The healing will come.

It just takes a long, lone time.
