Some days it's hard to believe how time has slipped away.

Wasn't it just yesterday we were kids,

Taking a chance at love,

Holding our fears off just one more day.

We had no goals, except to be happy,

Sure we found some heartache along the path.

We tripped and stumbled a time or two

But you never gave up on me!

Hard to believe 10 years slipped through our hands,

And yet I love you more now than I did then.

I've grown up and so have you,

Our youth slipped away like the hour glass sands.

Our daughter made live complete,

She was the missing joy behind those early fights,

She was the pot of gold in our dreary rainbow,

The fate we were destined to meet.

I don't know what the next ten years have in store,

I do know my life with you is all I could ever want,

A real dream come true,

I couldn't ask for more.

I love you more now than I did then,

We grow closer each day,

Even though the rough times you have never given up on me,

And if I could go back, I would do it all over again!
