How did I fall in-love with you

Remember when we never needed each other
When we slept without wanting to hold
To touch
Remember when we never hurt each other
When we talked without the taste of tears
Of hatred
Remember when we were simple as cotton
When we felt nothing for each other
No love
Remember when we never needed each other

Because I don’t

Poem displays a lot of intellectual quality and is written very cleverly. I really enjoyed the hard hitting, straight-forward, and ultimately compelling conclusion to this. I like these type of poems, with an upfront descriptive nature, yet a deep overall meaning. I would assume that many people who have been in similiar types of relationships could relate to this because you worded it so very well.

Lol, the backstreet boys? oh lord lol.

I adore the part about simple as cotton. that was great also the way that the last line pops at you, and shows that you were questioning and not reminicing, that was great. But i gotta say thanks for puttinbg that song into my head for the next week. Don't forget to cite your sources

Cool...I love how the last line just kind of attacks the reader.
