Coleridge at my soul

Folder:
2006

In all the ages from now till never
This can never be undone
You've laid your eyes and your hands on me
And I can no sooner forget that then to breath
You've pushed your mind on  me your spirit
And I've no moments left to live like this
No more space to hold my breath between
You've laid your eyes and hands upon me
You've sent me to the deepest depths of purgatory

Author's Notes/Comments:

The clouds had made a crimson crown,
Above the mountains high,
The stormy sun was going down,
In a stormy sky.
Why did you let your eyes so rest on me,
And hold your breath between?
In all the ages this can never be,
As if it had not been.-- Mary E Coleridge
