Queen of the world, herself and me

Folder:
2006

I sat one day

Upon a blue sky's felt

And asked of you what you thought

And you said "my sweet, I've not the words"

"To give you what you need"

I lay one night

Upon a black tears wing

And took from you what you gave

And you showed to me the lust of a raven

Locked in the souls of a man

I was one time

Upon a life of stone and stale

And perched within your arms

And you hid in me the freedoms you yearn

To leave no longer feeble

Author's Notes/Comments:
