Black man white man
Why should we care?
Two shades of one colour
In the air that we share

Both human both live
Why can't we see?
Until we go blind
We'll never be free

Heartbeats and souls
We all have one
Until we stop fighting
No one will have won

Author's Notes/Comments:

People make me sick, they just make me sick, next thing you know we will be judged by size and small people will be used for food

Very powerful piece, and I agree entirely. Environment, upbrining, and individual personality determine a person. Everything else is taught or learned.

Yes this is a splendid dream
which we can hope one day will
be realise...

I on the other hand find that man
by nature is a tribal creature so
even if we eliminate the races
and merge into a dreary grey

We will still look for things that
binds us to one kind and differences
seperate us and make us superior to
another.

I must agree with you however...
"Heartbeats and souls
We all have one..."
and until we embrace this fundemental
'sameness' we will all exterminate
ourself's in the next great race wars.

Another good poem
I love the lines "Until we go blind/We'll never be free"
Put so simply and yet so appalingly true

Keep up the great work (but please stop cranking them out so fast lol)!
