I wanted you to stay, why did you go.

You broke my heart, I felt only decay.

A love so pure and wild shot and killed.

Unknown treasures gathered and lost.

Wondering if the life we had will ever come around.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

I wrote this when I lost my kitty to a man that she didn't love. I got lucky and she asked me to belong to her. Now I get to spend the rest of my life with her.
