You came into my life-

At a time when I wasn’t free.

To take your out stretched hand.

So together we would be.



Oh fate can be so cruel. But in this life

We must not break the golden rule.



Oh, why didn’t I know you were there,

just waiting to be mine?

Instead The path I chose

To walk was written in stone.



My only hope will have to be,

Since I cannot claim you now.

Even though every beat of my heart,

Tells me you were made for me.

That you will be mine in eternity.



Oh please dear Lord,

Since we deny-

This love that in our hearts,

In another place, That you design,

Let us never be apart.

**My faith in God, Runs so very deep.

His divine promises Does he all keep.
