When you hold me in your arms,
The world disappears.
All the fears, thoughts and cares
Just fade away.
To a place where
They no longer scare me.
I feel so safe and loved
In your embrace.
I find comfort in
The beating of your heart-
As I lay my head,
Against your warm chest.
The smell of your skin lures
Me further into you
As my conscious self
Is no longer there.
My senses are acute and alert.
Filled with your, warmth
Your scent, your love.
Let me stay here in your arms,
Where I am safe, loved. Content.
