Of all the beauty in the earth
Nothing compares to reflection
Of the heavens in your eyes

Your eyes are a world unto their own
Full of mystery and enchantment
Full of creation and life

Inside of you there is a universe
Where all things exist
I see the beauty
And I see the pain and war

And I love you
Not in spite of this darkness
I love you over time and death
And your wounds and scars are beautiful to me

If I could go inside of you I would kiss
Each and every scar that lies upon your soul

I am not afraid of your demons
As I have struggled with my own
And I will rise up to help you fight against them

You are worth fighting for
