I have fallen in love with this woman
She eats chemicals
And rarely wears anything but black
She puts up walls
She has spent years laying layer upon layer of brick
So that no one could get to close
So she could be safe
And instead ended up being one of her most violent of abusers
She seems so tough on the out side
Dark and brooding
Flowing with poetry and anger
But I know the truth
My gothic dark light at the end of the tunnel
Oh my Lady of gloom and doom
There is sunshine and happiness for you too
You are so gentle and soft
Playful and more free than you realize
More beautiful than you allow
Iwill never hurt you
My gloom and doom princess
I see your soul
I can see your hurts
And I can see all the joy to come
Visions of Jupiter among the stars
I don't expect you to be perfect
But I already know that you are
I've waited this long for you
And would go through hell again to find you
I love and accept all there is
All the pain and darkness
There is sunshine and happiness
And you too will become a butterfly
So that there is hope for the flowers
