Orchids are not as riveting or enchanting;
perfume intoxicating and sweet,
body a panorama of natural beauty -
stimulating provocation where you hear
your own blood pumping through hot
veins, animated and totally arousing.
Skin clean and persuasive, smooth
as body wash, hips arched like judgment
perched into a rainbow over her baby
carriage. Vagina – man’s wishful thinking
puffed open when ready…like a stirred
butterfly emerging from its chrysalis.
Hands delicate as ceramic bisque,
face mesmerizing as a full moon, two
breasts begging to be kissed – standing
guard like a gateway over her heart, nipples
unlocked with a tongue key; her breath
fresh as white carnations in bloom.
Mouth moist as dew drops, lips supple
as infant fingers, waist flat, firm as a new
paved road, one way signs pointing to her
sweet spot, tasting like saturated pulp
from pitted peaches, vibrant as the varied
instruments in an orchestrated symphony.
Pulsations between her trapping
thighs more powerful than turbines, hair
falling like a willow of spun gold, smell
resembling the garden-fresh scents
from flower baskets; bright as foliage
during the Autumn blush in New England.
Voice no higher than a confident Goddess
whispering sexual excitement in your ear,
words luring and independently summoning,
leading to the potentials of rapture, blue eyes
the lure of rare gems, patchwork unique
as all her feminine abilities for making love.
So good, I had to read it
So good, I had to read it twice... And then grab a napkin and wipe the sweat off my forehead.
Excuse me, Nora Roberts imposter... You're masterful.
Thanks for the excellent read... I can see why this was recommended!

Thank you for this comment. I
Thank you for this comment. I apologize for my delayed response. I believe I was desperately lost, and so appropriately found your quote ( "A poem is never finished, only abandoned" - Paul Valery) astonishing, and so true sometimes of this craft where we stab ourselves in the heart, and bleed out poetry.
Certainly not jaded... Jade.
Certainly not jaded... Jade. Lovely. You make a woman love men more.

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Thank you again. I like your quoted words, “…I am the ink that flows from your quill.” They are laconic and crisp, and I can find them no other place, thus I assume they are original? They inspire me as much as your reply. Indeed for poetry to be an instrument of seduction one must fully apprehend its flux and liquified, alluring movements. I believe you do.
Hello. So sorry for the late
Hello. So sorry for the late reply. Yes, or at least it was original for me, A.M. Just one of so many inspired my time spent here on Post Poems. Just was feeling the true meaning of art that it has for myself at the time. You can't ever touch it, you know? Like the "spirit" of life itself....you have to feel it. ❤
...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."
"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

I am overjoyed you liked
I am overjoyed you liked this poem. I am enthralled with concepts of the Supreme Goddess (Deva – the shining one). Although I am more Buddhist than Hindu; the fact that male and female Gods can share the same podium has always been fascinating to me. Few religions acknowledge how the emptiness of space (womb, etc.) is so vital and necessary for all creation… both organic and inorganic. Did not the Big Bang create a womb (vacuum) in which began the birth of life and the universe as we know it? The Kama [meaning desire, wish, passion, longing, pleasure of the senses, and the aesthetic enjoyment of life, affection and love] is also a motivation for my writing. Gaia has long been ignored, and I think more men need to realize – if not for the feminine form and all its glory, none of us would be here. Women are the stimulus that spawns all life, and the primary focus of my poetry.
Simply Scrumptious! and here
Simply Scrumptious! and here all the while I thought Jade was just a lovely cold green piece of jewelry that peoples of the orient preferred. To think it was the looking glass of a fellow poet that showed me the difference of interpretation one can gleam from but one happenstance reading. Merci you wickedly graphic scribbler of intensity you... Merci indeed..............Sincerely Melissa Lundeen
How could I be anything but
How could I be anything but humble in light of “any comments” from you; being such a prolific writer in her own right. To an erudite standing in the rays of feminine exaltation – my modest thank you; although any of my tongue tied avenues of gratitude will only suffer from a gross oversimplification - of how truly beholden I am for your comments. (Tack så väldigt, väldigt mycket).
Wet As A Verb
The end all write on orgasm prelude and the senses in overdrive - cool write! - congratulations on being one of the first top ten selected for best prose piece. I would not have found you without the selection by the rabbit - Good to meet a fine writer - Lady A.
