I know how it feels to lose a loved one,
Sometimes it's hard to understand for some.
People lose their homes and clothes,
They looking for some place to go.
It takes one person to change,
Others can rearrange.
A person who Donates can be a he/she,
To make it better change he/she to we.
Tornado's can take away homes,
Maybe they can take away heavy stones.
No matter what, 1 person will ask you, "If you have all the money in the world what would
you do?"
If it was me answering I would say, "Change the World."
But dear poetess!
you cared enough to do it. That is what counts. Perhaps that is God speaking through your hand. Just one tiny mistake you over looked and it's nothing major. this line of yours ---> They looking for some place to go. Your They should be They're otherwise it was lovely. I am sure your teachers in school have told you practice makes perfect so if you like to write poems keep practicing. Remember a guitar player starts out not knowing how to play a guitar and then one day he or she is the next Eddie Van Halen. If you want to have a good laugh, go to my journal #1 and read my earliest poems or rather what I was passing off in those days as poetry. I was no wordsmith more so a Romper room sing along poet wanna be. Poetry is words from the heart that are sorted out by the soul and penned by the secretary to all which we call the hand. If you enjoy that venue then keep at it. God will send his angels down to help you hold steady your pen. For all you know there might be a female W.B. Yeats hiding somewhere in you just waiting to be set free. I look forward to seeing what you write next so welcome to our big little community. Sincerely, Melissa Lundeen.
