Beloved dove, cease thy rise
To the stormy midnight sky
Thy down, caressed by Winter's breath
Shall stay the chance for Mercy's test
Beloved dove, return to me
Loathed by my uncertainty
Brace thyself, for near's the rain
I knew thee well; yet,not thy name
Beloved dove, with iv'ry wings
Which gave the wind a melody
It rippled through my faded mind
Until to thee my soul confined
Beloved dove, capture me
Grace me with thy sanity
Thou hast flown much too high
Straining still, my eyes go blind
Beloved dove, thy light has gone
I've lost to what I've been so drawn
At thy loss, the dark sky weeps
Beloved dove....how I love thee
