I'm losing the game at winning your heart

I should have seen it from the start

Hard to catch you said you would be

Then one day you said marry me.

I thought for sure me dream came true

Then you said you can't do this you need to be be free

Will you please just wait for me.

Now a year has come and gone so fast

I hope by now I"d let go of our past

I put my heart on hold for you

I"ll never looked for someone new

I know inside you still feel me there

And I have to wonder do you still care

A lot of time has passed us by

Still it breaks my heart and I cry inside.
