butterfly

she's been torn apart

bleeding blood from her own heart

the scars of recent memories torment her

its amazing how fear can keep a beautiful butterfly  caged.

its taunting how concern can cause her caring reaction

fear is her devastating deception

he has wonder her inside and bound her in chains

laying beside him crying at night

fear is so real at times hard to over come, she let it consume her

lack in self confidence and a lack in self,

is it to late to turn back and look inside herself

one last attempt to make herself better

she looks deep  and digs and a light shines through her

revealing her inner self she cries tears of joy

his grip on her is loosening

his conrol is vanishing and she is whole and bares scars

a reminder never make this mistake twice

she has scars but bares them with pride

she has regained what she had lost and gained so much more

she went from a catappilar to a butterfly.

Great poem! I especially liked the way you brought the butterfly from selfdegregation to self fullfillment. I like happy endings :D
Keep up the great work! fullfellow

Hey! I really like this poem alot.Besides the fact that I love butterflies, its beautifully written and I can completely relate. I wrote one very similar called "butterfly" too. I'm sure you'd like it, you should read it sometime. http://www.postpoems.com/members/badafly333/ -Tessa
