Tale of the White Snake

Her eyes glittered in the dark,

Red, no, green, switching in the hollow bark.

Her tongue snaps out from her mouth,

Hissing, tasteing the air towards the south.

When she met him, he stole her heart,

She wishes she can curl around him as fast as a dart.

Yet she is snake and he is human,

She struggles and changes to be his favourite woman.

But before she can hold him passionately,

He was illed by her supernatural immortality.

She simply couldn't understand her faults,

And he didn't think of to ask her to halt.

Nearby monk casts a spell,

Locks her up before she can tell.

Her eternal love for him was true,

Yet, locked up it will be till his time is due.

No one ever will hear her cries,

Not even him, who asks so many whys.

Forever, he sits by the magic tower, where she stays,

Not knowing why he locked her up this way.

This sad tragedy hasn't end today,

For he nor she shall ever be gay.

Their love will never again see light,

Always be, locked up, out of sight.
