This side of paradise is crumbling,
I am not quite sure why I'm here.
How I got here is surely in question.
What I'm going to do next? Not a clue.

I'll probably just sit back and watch it,
That's typically what I do in times much like this.
Head on, my problems always seem to restrain me
So sitting here is typical. Typical.

Someday an overwhelming wave will wash me away
I feel like I would let it smother me and I'd die
Or just be sunk and drown for the rest of my life
Maybe I'll be invisible.
