I'm not beaten and broken
My body's just sore,
It wasn't me lying on that floor.
I just bruise really easily,
You've got things all wrong.
See, sometimes my dad and me
Just dont get along.
But really he loves me,
I just get in his way.
Sometimes I make him so angry
But that's just how we play.
I don't care what they told you,
I don't care what you heard,
You see, It's not that I'm lying
Or going against your word;
But I wasn't sleeping.
He didn't drag me out of bed.
He just had a bad day
And I tripped and hit my head
My dad would never hurt me
And that's the whole truth.
Just ask my mother
She'll give you proof.
We're a big happy family
No, there's no abuse,
You're trying to trick me,
Well, there's just no use.
You see I fall alot,
I'm clumsy that way,
And the burns on my arms-
What are you trying to say?
I'm telling you everything
But you just won't believe,
But really you can't stay here
You just have to leave.
My dad's coming home soon
And my mom's in her room
And if they find out you came here
Well, I wouldn't know what they'd do.
But really you should go now,
I hope now you see,
My parents are never harmful,
I told you they love me.
Niceness little Spry. Such a sweet uplifting poem, it had such a coy playfulness that really clashes with an abuse poem. Very cool. Friggin' cops, always nosing in peoples business. Okay then bye bye now.
I have a shower cam hooked up in your bathroom.
