Behind Her Smile

There’s something behind her smile
A Pandora’s box full of secrets and denials
The need to be revealed and be free
Take my hand and let your wings swing

Silence is your best friend
Pain is your everyday morning drink
You stand on the rock at the devil’s pit
Your smile covers up the wounded skin

There’s something behind her smile
An empty soul with broken miles
Drowning in her own trials
You never played like a child

Broken smiles, shattered heart
You suffer in silence behind a mask
In captivation you keep your tiger eyes
Take my hand I will fight your deepest cries

There’s something behind her smile…
