Lilith

Once upon atrocities
Packs of wolves howled the breeze
As She ran through the thickening trees
Under the moon bright skies
Past sneers and leers She ran forever
Cutting through grasping fogs, praying for shelter
The world has turned its back, no one can help Her
Anymore than trapping the God's diatribes

Than the derelict ruin She came upon
Catching Her breath, she glanced among
Seven wraiths that had caught Her tongue

As Her incarcerated spirit came undone
Her hell-like paradise has begun
Eternities had wrought unsung

But the demonic wolves had caught Her trail
Reincarnating ancient hells
Barriers and archaic spells
Proving nothing but dilation
Time being an enemy
She tried to cross the forbidden sea
That went beyond the eye could see
Hoping something will start Her liberation

Her life on the lamb
Escaping the damned
Mistakes of man
(History repeating itself again)

Though only She could run so far
Before finding another law
That She has broken, and like a star
She tries to fade, all alone, far away

But once again the wolves caught up
Tired of running, tired of giving a fuck
They backed Her to the cliff
And at the edge that pierced the mist
Thoughts are racing, Her only answer
Brighter than scars, deeper than the razor
Marbled waves crash on the apathetic shore
Fade to black, ash to ash
She throws Herself to the hissing lore

As Her life passed Her eyes
The wind runs through Her scarlet hair
The moon howls in delight
With the Horned Ones waiting to meet Her there

n nearly every book I've read that mentions Lilith, it depicts her as a raven. Interesting fact. in another one Satan is named as Samyaza. Most point her as being a vampiress, but another shows her as being satan's helper.
