Faust

“In dream dead sleep, he could not stir
While deathlike-thieves, took life from her
When he awoke, far too late
Setting in stone his twisted fate
The devil’s wings took to sea
When he took his opportunity
A signature in blood
Then came the flood
Of powers he thought he could control…
At the minor cost of his soul”

Recalling from my padded cell
The dawn I arose to a sudden hell
In my view a most horrific sight
A loss of sanity in the dim sunlight
I could not comprehend what was before my eyes
That mourning where everything meaningful died

There she hung, cold and numb
Her final notes rang unsung
This loss of thickening magnitude
I could never describe it all to you
They took her life, but left mine to keep
While I just lied in my unnatural sleep

With all my world raped away
I could not live another day
I sought the bridge, suicide in mind
Forever out of sync from the ritual grind

About to jump, when he showed up
He walked to me and spoke abrupt
I did not care for what he could say
But then his words changed my day
He promised vengeance like a drug
In exchange for my name, written in blood
With her gone, what could I lose
Other than this permanent bruise

A rush of adrenaline, energy, demonacy
I was finally able to hear the plea
Of those that committed this atrocious act
Oh how I loved to get them back

The murderers slaughtered he came again
More acts unspeakable; I was a slave to sin
I tried to refuse but the choice was not mine
Infected with the addiction, I was his loyal swine
I could not forever fight the craving
Unfamiliar faces, mine for the slaying
In the zenith of it all
My name was last on the list
To take what was his, unmistakable pall
I had to die, I could barely resist…

Author's Notes/Comments:

Based off of the movie Faust:Love of the Damned, may be updated, i'm not too happy with it, it's only part of the story too.

Faust, nice, reminds me of Faust the ex-drummer from Emperor, fits the name well.
