A lost man full of regret
The tears of the past frozen to his face
He can’t ever let himself forget
The paradise that was too close to taste
He brings himself to the memory
Trying to push the pain aside
He relives in his head the broken story
Hoping to feel what it’s like to die
Hoping just to feel something at all
So he can remember what it’s like
To remember the happiness before the fall
And being able to continue without a fight
That moment in my life when I felt complete
I can almost remember what it’s like to feel the emptiness fade
That gracious feeling before defeat
Then my only friend will once again invade
I second Daniel's statement! seriously though, the darkness may seem like it'll rule your life, but it doesn't have to. We all love you, remember that!
the darkness may seem like the only thing left but your friends will fight it off or get it drunk and kill it in it's sleep
