Death-Knelt Swansong

The love and faith that two exhale
Forever changing hatred’s hail
Thin-lined truth with lies underneath
Where trust gives in to succumbing wreathes
But even though daggers pierced this heart
Predicted futures soon showed naught
Of what either one have always hoped
Killing love and sanity’s elope

My fragile dahlia, heaven’s gift
Showing me that life’s bereft
Could be cured but at a cost
Placing hearts on rusted guillotines
Showing options other than death
That forgotten demands could be met
But like always there’s a chance of lost
As scarred trust becomes poisoned trappistines

My beautiful goddess, an offspring of divinity
Once held sacred, valued above life’s eternity
No other could match the beauty in Her eyes
Deeper than the farthest seas
Gorgeous shadows on Her holy ground
Trying to find what only few has found
Painful emotions arose with Her every cry
As my love was proven on spiritual sounds

But once broken dependence still scars deep
As my independence starts to leak
Nightmares awaken through harmless flirts
Like a broken wing that’ll always hurt
But ghosts forgiven continue to reap
Killing lights down haunted streets
But still it somehow manages to work
(But that same wing will always hurt)

Moving past what yesterdays held
And trying to forget what fates had shown
But love’s deathship has already sailed
Pure emotions are forever gone
Orgasmic lust though still remained
Holding unwanted futures at bay
But predictions held through cracked domains
And lithe devastation paved the way

Watching growing distances with jealous screams
Separating the closest stars, parting all means
Emotional prisons has risen, convicting all treasons
Picking deep infatuations scarring between the seams
Watching the mind’s unprediction lose control
Creating giant dams in love’s natural flow
Yet like always I am silent, broken loyalty burns defiant
The final wound to break the soul

After laments and numerous tries
And after our opposite emotions arise
Old barriers return, rebuilding walls
New flaws take place like ignorant laws
My time still grieves at Cupid’s thieves
Serrated berates continue to bleed
What once was found is now dismissed
My once adored seraph no longer exist

For aeons now the love has been lost
Drowning the warmth behind layers of frost
Where every happy ending has now been tossed
And broken before my eyes…
Repeated histories I should've seen
Had I not been blinded by heightened keen
Where chaos thrives behind the scenes
As perfect love decides to die…

wow, this is one of those that you need to read a few times to fully understand, yet my mind goes back to my previous statement...wow! I like a lot. there's plenty more I could say, but the words: the future will reveal it's intentions in time about sums it up
