The Majestic Decision
The sky blue was shining and the birds were flying with grace, the weather was charming and the land was green so everything seems to be perfect, every creature was in peace, and everyone get along with each other so good. But there was something in Phanes’s mind that was missing in his piece of art.
He wanted something brave but intelligent, something wild and powerful at the same time, he just wanted something majestic. After all this thoughts he started the invention of a really big animal that had all the characteristics he at first thought, and also some more. He named it Lion.
He was so excited with his new creation that he didn’t notice that he passed the limit; he forgot the most important thing. He didn’t even think about Lion’s feelings, he just created something selfish and tactless that was destroying his marvelous world. He just created what he really wanted and didn’t think about the consequences this could have.
Phanes tired and exhausted of using his powers to create the lion decided to take a deserve nap, so he went to sleep, but he was so tired that he wanted to sleep for a month.
The lion was hunting the other animals and destroying the peace with which they were living before, creating in them fear and insecurity.
After a month, tired of being always afraid and with insecure, the rest of the animals in the Earth organize a reunion to talk about what is happening with the lion and what they should do about it. Everyone was planning an attack that will kill the lion. The plan was perfect and everyone was ready to attack, but when all the animals started to take their stuff to kill the majestic animal, the monkey ran to the front of the bunch of animals and screamed, “Stop! We cannot do this, we are not like him.” But all the animals started to laugh and ignored him, so they followed their way to the jungle, where the lion was every afternoon sleeping after a really tired day for him.
Just when the animals where in the middle of their journey Phanes woke up and he was surprised of all the mess and panic in his world, so he started a trip to the earth. When he arrived there animals that he created he noticed that all the good animals now were rude and without feelings. He tried to talk to them but they didn’t pay attention to him. Phanes was desperate and he was about to return to his world and forgot about the mess he did in there, but when turned around the monkey yelled at him. The monkey told him that all of that was happening because of him, and he was the only responsible of all the problems in the earth. Phanes started to feel guilty, so he planed something.
He went to the jungle, and found the lion eating a rabbit, he was scared of him, but he had to do something to stop him. So he tried to talk to him, but the lion did not listened to Phanes so he was about to eat him when suddenly Phanes took out his sword and killed the lion.
After that the entire world returned to be good and peaceful again.
Moral of the story:
When you do something, you have to face all the consequences.
