Waterlily (Haiku)

Folder:
Poetry

Ivory petals

Covered in the morning's dew

Dances from the reeds.

An angel's breath

Drifted her downstream

A song on the wind.

She is nature's muse,

Priestess of the Great Mother,

Beauty in the night.

With green eyes in bloom

She went over the waterfall

That's where she froze.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I can't write a haiku to save my life.
