Invocation: VI

Folder:
Series Poems

My return was swift,

and soon I was back among the living.

Unseen by all but felt by some,

I wandered, peering into the minds and desires of humanity.

A longing, spiritual for most,

could be found in the hearts of many;

searching for something (or someone) to fill their void.

They would deliver invocations unto their own deities,

but all in vain.

None would answer their vague pleas,

their pitiful desires to be loved.

None except for me.

I will give my love to them,

give them spiritual acception.

All I have to do is bide my time;

waiting is the hardest part.
