I'd like to say I love you

But it just wouldn't be enough

It's just words upon the paper

And they never said that much



There's just too much emotion

That the words could ever reach

Deep down inside this broken heart

So that you could really see



A dying inspiration

That you've laid upon my feet

But the look in my eyes

Says much more than I could breath



Just simple words that I may utter

So that you will one day know

Of the passion that you planted

And now I wait for it to grow
