I’m just the nameless ghost

Hiding from you in the shadows

One day I might appear

And tell you all the things I know



I’m just the nameless ghost

Passing through you in the night

You’ll never notice me

But I see the love-lights in your eyes



I’m just the nameless ghost

And it’s the way it has to be

To be a nameless ghost

Is to remain mostly unseen



I’m just the nameless ghost

Just a spirit in your dreams

I give you more than life

And more than you will ever see



I’m just the nameless ghost

Hiding away from this cruel world

Doing all that I can

To keep the vows that I have swore



I’m just the nameless ghost

And maybe one day you will see

Behind the smiles and laughter

To see the face of the true me
