I wish I was another man

So I don't have to be me today



I wish I was another man

So maybe I can find my way



I wish I was another man

Please help me drown these tears away



I wish I was another man

So I could take away all this pain



You don't know how it feels to be me

Until you have to cry yourself to sleep

You couldn't walk a mile in my shoes

Because of all that I've been through



I wish I was another man

That way I would not have to be me

A much better man than you now see

So maybe I could make you happy

So I could be the way I feel
