The nights are getting colder

They're getting colder by the day



I wish I had

Wings to fly

So I could fly away



The wind is calling softly

And it's beckoning me to you



Give me wings

So I can fly

And I'll give you some too



I'm aware of the problems

That come between me and you



They say we're wrong

I know we're right

So our dreams must come true



They tell us we're too different

They say we're worlds apart



But you and me

Now we can see

What lies within our hearts
