As I sit alone, and I wonder why

I lack complacence with this life

So bored of it, in this sleepy town

Those memories just drag me down



I'm so over this, and my bleeding heart

As the dreams just tear my world apart

But then I saw, your sweet smile again

Raising the sunshine I had locked within



I'm sorry, you couldn't stay

You know my world is always yours to take

And I'm sorry, that I hurt you so

But I could never let your tears run cold



And the last thing, that I meant to do

Was lose your heart but I did that too

Can't get over you, just like my dreams

That I shattered into moonlit beams



In this lonely night, I think of you

And this angel I kept of the love we knew

So tonight I sing, in these words of mine

Letting you hear the sorrow in my sigh



I'm sorry, and I miss you so

As my desires on fire burn out of control

And I'm sorry, I m  m, ake you smile

My pain is the same but even after a long while



Just one last kiss, right before you left

Wrapped in my arms and clinched to my chest

It hurt so bad, to watch you go

I couldn't bear the pain as you well know



I'm not perfect, very far from it

Somehow I can't believe that this all fits

I love you girl, and I always will

And I know in my heart that you do still



So I'm sorry, for the love we made

Two bodies and hearts in a very special place

And I'm sorry, that it couldn't be

But deep down inside I feel some hope in me



I have to hope, to keep me smiling

To keep going on with this life I'm living

I have to dance, in complete silence

Because only to us does it ever make sense



I have to miss you, and your sweet lips

And all the movies that we completely missed

And those dark nights, with you in my embrace

My beautiful darlin' bringing ruts to this face



I'm so sorry, that I couldn't follow

Despite the circumstances that I couldn't know

I'm sorry baby, this heart still aches

For your love and the memories conveniently stay



Through my many walls, you saw inside of me

Beyond the point I ever allowed anyone to see

And in your eyes, I saw my future unfold

As the stars formed figures of the story we told



So I toast to us, and sink one more down

As I realize your memories will never drowned

So I'm really sorry, I can't be right there

Appreciating you in manners you rightly deserve
