As another sun rises to the heavens above

I feel the warmth and embrace of your love

I’m wide awake but I’m still dreaming of

The fires of your passion and I can’t get enough



There is no beauty that could ever compare

To the light that you’ve shed to ensnare

This heart that I thought was lost to despair

You’ve found the love that was hidden in there



If I took your hand and began to fly

Would you soar through the painted sky

Above the world and above our lives

To the heavens where we’ll reside
