           Lovely little drops

           Hitting the sidewalk

           TAP TAP TAP

           Softer, harder, softer

           The sweet smell

           In the air

           Closing your eyes

           As the droplets fall

           Rolling down your cheeks

           The swooshing of cars

           Driving past

           Splashing of puddles

           People running by

           Slow then fast and faster

           Til everyone is gone

            And all is silent
