every open door

is just another room

theres just another exit

to another day of gloom

so pout against the wall

or fall upon the floor

you know you will soon crawl

through another open door



you life must always stay real

or one day you will cease to feel

every open door

every single star

is all a piece of you

makes you who you are



every open door

theres a key inside your mind

theres a lock upon your heart

and your soul is intertwined

and everything you do

and all lies you explore

leave just another trail

to the next open door



implode and retract

all alone

to the cause

to the night

to the dawn

another moment
